A turning product answers the question every shopper has: what does the other side look like? Normally that takes a motorised turntable and dozens of photos. Shoupapp builds the spin from as little as one front photo. Each extra side you add — right, back, left — makes the far side of the spin truer to the real product, so add them whenever you have them.

The result is a 5- or 10-second MP4 in portrait 3:4, square, vertical 9:16, landscape 4:3 or wide 16:9. It plays anywhere a video does: your product page, a marketplace listing that accepts video, or social media.

For the cleanest spin, start from a product with its background removed: run the photos through the background remover first, in the same library.

How to photograph for a better spin

  • Keep the camera at the same height for every side, so the product does not jump as it turns.
  • Use the same light for all the photos, so the color stays constant around the spin.
  • Centre the product in each photo, with some space around it.
  • Photograph the real back whenever it matters — labels, zips, ports — instead of letting it be imagined.

How it works

  1. Add the photos

The front is required; right, back and left make it truer.

  2. Pick length and format

5 or 10 seconds, in five shapes.

  3. Download the MP4

Use it on product pages, listings and social media.

Frequently asked questions

How many photos do I need?

One front photo works. The more sides you add, the closer the far side of the spin is to the real product.

Is it an interactive 360° viewer?

No. It is a video of the product turning, which works on any page or marketplace that accepts video.

What background works best?

A product with its background removed. Run the photos through the background remover first for the neatest result.

What if a spin fails?

Its credits are returned automatically.

Which format should I choose?

Square or portrait for product pages and marketplaces, vertical 9:16 for stories and short-form video, wide 16:9 for websites.

Can I use the spin on a marketplace?

Wherever the marketplace accepts product videos, yes: upload the MP4 as the listing’s video, and check that marketplace’s rules for length and format.

How long should the spin be?

Five seconds is enough for most product pages; ten seconds gives a slower, calmer turn for premium products.
