AI product photos

AI product photo background generator: one packshot, 20+ scenes

Put the product you photographed on white into a real-looking scene — a marble counter, a café table, a beach at golden hour — picked from more than 20 ready-made scenes, or chosen for you. It comes back as a 9:16 vertical image for stories and Reels. No photo shoot, no prompt to write.

A packshot sells on a product page; social media needs a moment. Shoupapp places your product into a new scene while keeping the product itself as you photographed it — the shape, the label and the color you actually sell. You choose the scene from a list, or let it choose one for you. There is no prompt to write.

More than twenty scenes cover a normal content calendar: studio white, marble, warm wood, linen, concrete with hard light, a café table, a city street at golden hour, the beach, water, greenery, a kitchen counter, a work desk, winter light, a sunset glow, dark luxury and color gradients. For products that belong in someone’s life there are scenes with the product held in a hand, in use, or worn.

Not sure which scene fits? Leave it on Automatic and a scene is chosen to suit what the product is — outdoor light for ski gear, a concrete plinth for a sneaker. Or pick Trend, and a fresh creative direction is written for your product: the setting, the light and the mood, different every time you run it. If the photo alone does not say what the product is, add one line about it — the name, the material, where it is used — so the scene is built around the right thing. That line only names the product; it never changes it.

Every image is made for the phone screen. It is created at 9:16 from the start, not cropped or padded from a square, so a square packshot becomes a full vertical frame with room around the product for your caption and stickers. It is ready for stories, Reels, TikTok and vertical pins as it is.

Try several scenes on the same product and keep the ones that suit your brand. The original photo is never changed; every scene is saved as a new image in your library, next to the photo it came from, ready to download or to open in the photo editor.

Getting scenes that look real

  • Match the scene to the product. Skincare on marble or by water, coffee gear on a café table, shoes on a city street — the closer the match, the more natural the result.
  • Start from a clean photo. A product on a transparent or plain background gives the scene the most to work with.
  • Keep a series consistent. Use the same scene for a whole collection so the posts read as one campaign.
  • Use “in hand” and “worn” to show scale. A product next to a person answers how big it really is.

How it works

  1. Pick a product photo

A clean packshot on a plain background works best.

  2. Choose a scene

From more than twenty, Automatic or Trend. No prompt needed.

  3. Download and post

A 9:16 vertical image, ready for stories. Your original stays untouched.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to write a prompt?

No. You pick a scene by its name. The instructions for the AI are written for you.

Will my product change?

The scene changes and the product is meant to stay the same. Check each result, and only keep the ones that show your product as it is.

What kind of photo works best?

A clear, well-lit photo of the product on a plain background. The cleaner the input, the more convincing the scene.

Can the same photo become a video?

Yes. The same photo can become a product video, an animated photo or a social media video.

Can I get the right size for Instagram or Pinterest?

Every image is 9:16, the story, Reels and vertical pin size, created at that shape. For a square or 4:5 post, open it in the photo editor and export it on an artboard of that size.

What is the difference between Automatic and Trend?

Automatic picks one of the ready-made scenes to suit your product. Trend writes a new creative direction for your product each time, so two runs give you two different ideas.

Send us five photos.

We will run them the way we would run your whole catalog and send back exactly what came out — before you decide anything.
